Steps to find out why a part does not appear in optiglass.
1) Verify that the Glass part type is assigned to the part ( Core | Setup | Products | Parts, part type tab)
2) Verify that the part was marked as Inventoried ( Core | Setup | Products | Parts, general tab)
one clarification to Step #2, that the Part's parent BOM assemblies are Manufactured (and not ItemType=None).
3) Verify that the customer performed a sync in opti glass (Opti | Import/Export | Import | Transfer data:
Transfer part type definition, Transfer part definition)
4) Verify that the part is assigned to an inventory category in Core (Part Setup)
5) In Opti-glass, check the machine's inventory settings, and make sure the stock sheet is set to enabled here (check parent part also).
6) Make sure that the machine can accommodate the W & H of the glass (make sure the glass is not bigger than the machine).
7) Make sure that there is a Thickness specified for the part and child part in Core | Inventory | Inventory
8) Check the Glass Setup utility to see if the stock sheet is disabled there.
