Trim on a glass piece
Can come from:
- Attributes on the part (T1 through T4) - these will override all other trims
- To check the trims coming from attributes, see How to Generate a Part Breakdown Report
- Shape trims
- These are set in OPTI-GLASS, from the Settings > Shapes menu:
Stock Size Trim
Stock Size Trim is the trim around the edge of the entire stock sheet. (Left, Bottom, Right, Top)
"Internal" trim controls how close you can have cuts next to each other inside the plate.
This is on the Stock Sizes tab in Opti, under the Inventory menu:
- These trims can be overridden at the machine level as well
- These trims can also be overridden during an optimization
