FeneVision stores certain information in the local PC registry such as:
- Size of windows on the computer screen
- Location of windows on the computer screen
- Cached information typed into some fields, such as login credentials.
If an error/problem is isolated to one PC, then the registry on that PC might be relevant. It is generally safe to delete the registry keys for FeneVision, because FeneVision regenerates those keys next time you run the application.
The downside of clearing registry settings is that the user will need to type in any text that was cached in the screens of FeneVision. For example, the database connection information may need to be typed in again. The user will also need to resize and re-position any windows they had adjusted.
Ask your IT team to help you perform the below actions on your own PC:
- Go into Registry Editor (RegEdit). It looks like this:
- Close all FeneVision applications on the PC.
- Right-click the folder you want, and select Delete.
